About The Role
You’ll be responsible for carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on the C130J Hercules fleet while ensuring compliance with airworthiness, safety and Defence operational standards.
Working within a highly experienced team, you’ll contribute to critical aircraft maintenance operations supporting one of Australia’s most recognised Defence aviation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical maintenance and rectification on C130J aircraft
- Fault finding and troubleshooting activities
- Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Completion of maintenance documentation
- Compliance with safety and airworthiness procedures
- Working within Airbus and Defence maintenance frameworks
Requirements
Essential
- Cert IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent
- CASA Licence or recognised overseas qualifications
- Current EWIS training
- Experience on large aircraft platforms
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Highly Regarded
- Previous C130 experience
- Defence aviation experience
- Heavy maintenance background
Compliance Requirements
- Current CV
- Human Factors Certificate (within 2 years)
- Police Check
- Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAMP)
- Passport or Birth Certificate
- Driver’s Licence
- Visa documentation (if applicable)
